Vimy Ridge Day 9 April

As we approach #VimyRidgeDay2021, we join Canadians near and far in coming together to begin a period of sombre reflection and commemoration.

We are asking Cadets, JCRs and COATS members to get involved in our commemoration efforts:

• Take a photo of yourself, preferably in uniform with a candle, shot in a vertical orientation.
• Submit a vertical video of yourself sharing a fact or detail about the Battle of Vimy Ridge — it could be a family story, a connection to your community, part of the history of your affiliate unit, or just a detail of the Battle which would help other Canadians connect with the importance of the Battle.
• Submit your contributions to your local Region throughout this week, using Direct Message: BC Cadets (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter)
• Watch and share the posts on April 9, 2021.
