![]() On May 25, cadets will have the opportunity to fly in the cadet Schweizer SGS 2-33A gliders and learn about the regional gliding school. Becoming a glider pilot is the first milestones for the cadets wishing to get their power pilot license. Having exposure to the gliders prior to attending the scholarship camp is a great learning opportunity and a lot of fun. Cadets are to meet at the 103 LHQ at 0730 and will be transported to the gliding site. They will then return to the LHQ at approximately 1730. Cadets should bring their own lunches and water and arrive at the squadron on time. Dress is weather-appropriate civilian wear. Please sign up on the board in the squadron LHQ. Priority will be given to levels one and three, and to those cadets that have not been up in a glider before. Trail maintenance day is here again, this Saturday the 13th. All cadets that signed up please meet at 0845 hrs at the trail head near Dempsey and Braemar roads in Lynn Valley. Wear clothing appropriate for the weather and work we'll be doing: a lot of digging and moving rocks and earth. Bring water and a snack.
Please print, fill out and sign this waiver form and bring it with you. Check the calendar for further information. |
