Physical fitness is one of the key objectives of the cadet training program, and a fitness assessment is required to complete your training level and for promotion. This fall you will be doing a self-assessment, with an assessor (a parent, sibling, etc) assisting you. Please fill out the online form with your results, and work on your fitness to prepare for the next assessment in the spring!
We have been asked to help with poppy tagging by the Royal Canadian Legion. Poppy sales are an important annual fundraising effort for the Legion's community programs.
This work may be credited as volunteer hours for school, and is part of the citizenship portion of the cadet curriculum. The tagging is designed by the Legion to be COVID-safe. Full briefings on safety will be given on site.
Cadets must be picked up and dropped off at the volunteer site by parents. Please arrive 10 minutes before your shift starts. An officer will carry out COVID screening prior to starting your shift.
Please sign up on this form to reserve your shift. There are only a few shifts available at the moment but more may open up soon. [Update: more shifts have been added for Saturday, 6 November.]
