All cadets must submit a signed permission form prior to boarding the bus for the field training exercise being held this weekend. Download and print the 2018 Summer Thunder permission form and kit list if you need a copy.
In the 2018 Lower Mainland Regional Marching Band Display competition yesterday, our band placed first over seven other bands competing in the Military "C" category, and earned a "silver" score ranking. Thunder flight has worked exceptionally hard over the past several months to achieve and maintain a very high standard for music, drill and dress, and their efforts paid off. Congratulations to all band members! A big thank you to all cadets who participated in today's maintenance work on lower Bobsled, which will improve drainage and smooth out the exit of one of the most popular mountain biking trails in the world. Thanks also to the NSMBA for allowing us to help out and for providing a kind and professional trail builder to direct and supervise us. This is a reminder for all cadets who signed up for the trail maintenance day. Please meet at the equipment storage container located on the gravel road just before the Fromme Mountain parking lot at the top of Mountain Highway at 0845 on Saturday, wear appropriate clothing for outdoor work, and bring water and a snack.
