Return to Cadets for 2022/2023

1/9/2022

All cadets returning for the 2022/2023 training year, please report for admin parade on Wednesday, September 7 at 1830h. Dress is C3. There will be a short briefing and you will need to revalidate your contact and medical information with the admin officer. Please bring your parent/guardian to sign forms if necessary. Note that you MUST have your revalidation completed prior to commencing training; it is a small but necessary task. Some of you must also have detailed health questionnaires completed as well. Dismissal from admin parade will be no later than 1930h.

Senior NCOs (sergeants and up) will attend a training briefing at 1930h following the admin parade. We will be going over your duties and responsibilities and you will be addressed by the squadron warrant officer. Dismissal of senior NCOs will be at 2030h.

Regular training will commence on Wednesday, September 14th at 1830h.

New recruits are requested to attend a recruit briefing on Wednesday, September 14th at 1900h (7pm), at the blue building in the compound next to the JP Fell armoury at 1513 Forbes Ave. There will be a brief tour for the recruits followed by a question and answer session, and an opportunity to register. You may fill out the forms available on our web site at or we can provide them to you in person.

Recruits must have ID with them for registration. The official identification documents accepted are as follows: valid Canadian passport; attestation or birth certificate issued by a Canadian provincial or territorial government, or by the Government of Canada; card, visa or permit issued by the Government of Canada authorizing the person to reside legally in Canada; identification card issued by a Canadian provincial or territorial government, or by the Government of Canada. The recruit’s BC personal health number or private health insurance information is also required; please bring your BC Services Card (formerly CareCard). A parent or guardian must be present to sign forms.

We look forward to seeing returning cadets on Sept. 7th and recruits on Sept. 14th!
