Hello cadets and parents,
I wish I had concrete information about what is happening in the cadet program this year – but right now things are uncertain. The current situation regarding COVID numbers will play a huge role in the decisions made by my chain of command and, as you know, that can change rapidly. We need to be flexible in cadets, as in all other aspects of our lives, for the foreseeable future. However… Cadets will continue this year in some form or other. I can not speculate if we will be allowed to parade in person or only virtually. All I can do is to commit to making Cadets as interesting and fun as possible in whatever format we end up using. What we do have planned: Registration: Returning cadets will be receiving forms via email to be completed. These will contain all your contact and a question about any changes in your health. You MUST complete them and return them as instructed. It is vital that your contact information is up to date. First Parade: Our initial parade will be on Wednesday, September 15th, at 18:45Hrs via Zoom. Please log on, on time, to the link sent via email. We hope to be able to give you the information we receive at the meeting. As always, I am impressed by your dedication and ability to make the most of a difficult situation.
