Attention all Online Ground School Participants:
Ensure that you have completed your FINAL EXAM by the deadline 15 January. After this date you will not be able to compete the exam or be eligible for further consideration into this summer's GPTC/PPTC course offerings. You should not wait until the last minute in order to minimize technical issues which might impact successful completion. Please note that there is practice exam that must be completed to gain access to the FINAL exam. Completion of the FINAL EXAM is required for consideration on the Glider Pilot Training Course and Power Pilot Training Course. Our winter stand down will be lifted at the end of this week, and regular training nights will resume on 11 January. Meet at the armoury on Wednesday, 11 Jan at 1830h, dress is C3.
The date printed on the signup sheet for the HMCS Yellowknife tour was incorrect and the tour will be held on Sunday, 4 December NOT Saturday, 3 December. The time is the same, 1100h to 1200h. Please be at the Burrard Dry Dock Pier (15 Wallace Mews, North Vancouver) 10-15 minutes before the tour time. Dress is C3E with parka.
There is space for a few more cadets on the tour. If you'd like to attend but did not sign up, email Capt Ferg at co@103air.com. Our open house for parents this evening is postponed due to hazardous icy conditions around the squadron headquarters. We'll let you know when it is rescheduled.
CO's parade will still be held as scheduled. Note that there will be no audience for CO's parade tonight due to restrictions on personnel in the armoury. We're hoping to have parents attend CO's parades in the new year. |
