Dress in civilian clothes, bring your boots and polish kit. Dismissal approx 2100h. Attention all cadets: regular training for Jan 17 is cancelled due to the weather. We will resume regular training next Wednesday, Jan 24.
Also, remember to sign up online for the visit to the Space Centre on Saturday. The weather should be better by then! Cadet Correspondents are an important resource in engaging corps and squadrons in publicizing the Cadet Program. They are also a vital component to conducting effective public affairs at area, regional and national events, including Cadet Training Centres (CTCs).
Two serials of the virtual Cadet Correspondent Course will be conducted:
over a three-week period. Course work is primarily self-directed, with an online tutorial offered twice per week to provide instruction, feedback, and an opportunity to ask questions. This course is open to all cadets FCpl and above who have completed level 2 and are interested in media production and interviewing. Please contact a member of the training staff if you are interested in attending a cadet correspondent course. The CJCR Gp National Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Groups (NDIAGs) are an initiative built to evolve positive culture within CJCR Gp. Our programs and people benefit greatly and we are stronger by leveraging our diversity.
NDIAG offers an opportunity to hear more voices and learn from experiences, and uniqueness of our cadets and adult leaders. Speak to your Chain of Command to apply and let your #CadetVoice be heard. What makes up the Cadet National Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Group (NDIAG)? There are five advisory roles, each providing the advice and on issues and barriers facing each group:

On Saturday, January 20, 103 squadron will be visiting the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre. This is a fun and educational activity including planetarium shows and Groundstation Canada/Cosmic Courtyard activities. Lunch is included. Open to all cadets!
